The Handyman Clackamas Recommends.

Most of the time, finding a good handyman in Clackamas works the same way as finding a good barber. Somebody on your block uses one, the work holds up, and pretty soon the whole street knows the name. That's how we built up out here. One Sunnyside fence repair turned into a Mt. Scott punch list which turned into two Town Center rental turnovers and on it goes.

The thing the neighbors all say first is "he actually shows up." That sounds obvious until you've spent three weeks chasing a contractor who keeps moving your date. We text before we head out, text again when we're done, and the quote you got is the quote you pay.

Good questions

Clackamas FAQ.

Which parts of Clackamas do you cover?
All of it. Sunnyside, Clackamas proper, the neighborhoods around the Town Center, and out toward Damascus and Happy Valley. Mulino is a short drive down 213, so Clackamas sits squarely on our weekly loop.
How fast can you get out for a small repair?
Most Clackamas calls book within three to five business days. Urgent stuff like a stuck exterior door, a leaking shutoff or a fence panel knocked loose after a storm, send a text and we'll try to squeeze it in.
Will you take a small job, or only bigger lists?
Both. Single items are fine, just know the $150 minimum applies, so bundling a few things into one visit gets you more for the same trip. We'll tell you up front if the math works better with one more item added.
Are you actually licensed and insured?
Yes. CCB #253174, bonded, and carrying general liability. We'll email proof of insurance to your HOA or property manager before we show up. Same paperwork we send to Oregon City and West Linn folks every week.
Do you work in the apartments and townhomes around the Town Center?
Yes, as long as the unit owner or property manager is the one hiring us. We work directly with several Clackamas property managers on turnovers and small repairs. Quick communication is the whole game with rentals.
How do you price the work?
Flat rate, item by item. We walk your list, write a number next to each thing, and you decide what to do before any tools come out. No hourly meter, no surprise add-ons. If a job turns out bigger than expected, we stop and re-quote.
Do you handle the pre-listing or post-inspection lists?
All the time. Inspection lists are one of the most common ways folks find us. We bundle the items into one or two visits, finish the work, and send a clean written summary you can hand to the buyer or the lender.
Where else do you work?
We're based in Mulino, with regular rounds through Oregon City, West Linn, Canby, Molalla and Tualatin. If you're not sure whether your address is inside the zone, send your zip and we'll let you know quickly.
