The local guide

A Trusted Handyman in Oregon City.

Most folks find a good handyman in Oregon City the same way they find a good mechanic: another neighbor swears by them. That's how we end up on most of our calls. A friend on McLoughlin Boulevard tells a friend in Caufield, who mentions it to her sister in Tower Vista, and pretty soon a quick text comes in with a photo of a wobbly handrail or a hole in the laundry-room wall.

Oregon City homes have personality. Older craftsman bungalows near McLoughlin shift through the seasons and crack at the same corners every year. Newer builds out toward Caufield and the South End hit the seven-year mark and suddenly need a long list of small fixes at once. We work on both, and we keep the visit simple. One truck shows up, the work gets done, and the price matches the quote.

Good questions

Oregon City FAQ.

What parts of Oregon City do you cover?
All of it. We're in Park Place, McLoughlin, Hillendale, Caufield, Tower Vista and the South End on a regular basis, plus everything in between. If your address shows up on a map of Oregon City, we'll come to you.
How fast can you usually get out here?
Most Oregon City visits book within three to five business days. If it's something urgent, like a broken exterior door or a leaking shutoff, send a text and we'll do our best to fit you in sooner. Same-day isn't promised, but it happens more often than you'd think.
Do you handle small jobs, or only big ones?
Small is our sweet spot. A single squeaky hinge, a TV mount, a wobbling ceiling fan, a patch on the hallway wall. We also do half-day and full-day punch lists where five or six small items get bundled. Bundling drops the per-item cost a lot.
Is there a minimum charge?
Every visit starts at $150. That covers travel, the first chunk of work, and a written quote for anything extra you'd like done while we're already there. If you have just one tiny task, that minimum still applies, which is why we usually suggest making a small list before we head over.
Are you actually licensed and insured?
Yes, CCB #253174, bonded, and carrying general liability. We can send proof of insurance to your property manager or HOA on request. A lot of West Linn and Oregon City HOAs ask for it before approving exterior work, and we're used to that paperwork.
Will you give me a price before you start?
Always. We walk the list with you, write down a flat rate per item, and you say yes or no before any tools come out of the truck. No hourly meter ticking in the background. If something turns out to be bigger than the photo showed, we stop and re-quote before continuing.
Can I just text you a photo of the problem?
Please do. Photos and a short description help us ballpark the work and bring the right materials. Send them to the same number you'd call. We usually reply the same day with a rough number and a couple of date options.
Do you work outside Oregon City too?
Yes. We're based in Mulino and cover Canby, Molalla, West Linn and the rest of the south Portland metro. If you're not sure whether you're in our zone, send your zip and we'll let you know in a minute or two.
