Neighbors say

Loved by Tualatin.

"Fixed three doors that had been dragging all year, swapped a porch fixture, and patched the wall where our last tenant hung a TV. Quick, clean, and exactly the price he quoted."
Rachel D., Byrom, Tualatin
"Sent a list of seven small things over text. Got a quote back the same afternoon. He knocked it all out in one visit and the cabinet door he rehung still closes perfectly six months later."
Marco L., Bridgeport, Tualatin
"Had him do our pre-listing punch list. Doors, drywall, two fixtures and the fence gate. Easy to communicate with and the buyer's inspection came back clean."
Jenny S., Ibach, Tualatin

Quick tips

Tualatin Handyman, Answered.

"Is a handyman really worth it for one little thing?" That's the question we hear most often from new Tualatin customers. The honest answer: usually not for one thing, almost always for five. A single doorknob swap on its own is an awkward use of a visit. The same doorknob plus a sticking deadbolt, a wobbly fan, a drywall patch and a new light fixture is a no-brainer.

That's the first tip. Keep a list. Sticky note on the fridge, note on your phone, whatever works. When you've got five or six items, send a text. Bundling drops the per-item cost because most of the visit fee is the drive and the setup, not the work itself.

Ready when you are

Got a list? Let's knock it out.

Text us a few photos of what needs fixing and we'll send back a ballpark the same day, most days. Tualatin visits usually book within the week.

Good questions

Tualatin FAQ.

Do you actually come out to Tualatin?
Yes. We run a weekly loop up I-205 from Mulino, and Tualatin sits right on the route. Most calls book within three to five business days, sometimes sooner if your timing lines up with a job nearby.
What's the smartest way to use a handyman visit?
Bundle. Most of the cost on a small repair is travel, not the actual fix. Walk your house, write down every little thing that bugs you, then send the list. Stacking five or six items into one visit usually drops the per-item price by half.
Any tip for keeping a punch list short between visits?
Twice a year, do a slow walk through the house with your phone and photograph anything that looks off. Loose trim, doors that drag, a fan that ticks. You'll catch issues at the cheap stage instead of waiting until they turn into bigger fixes.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. CCB #253174, bonded, and carrying general liability. Happy to email a current proof of insurance over to your HOA or property manager before we show up.
How do you handle quotes?
Flat rate, item by item. We walk the list, write a number next to each thing, and you decide what makes the cut before any tools come out of the truck. If a job turns out bigger than the photo showed, we stop and re-quote before continuing.
Is there a minimum?
Every visit starts at $150. That covers travel, the first chunk of work, and a written quote for anything else you'd like done while we're on site.
Tip for older Tualatin homes specifically?
Watch the door jambs and the caulk lines. Houses around here move a little with the wet season, and small gaps turn into drafts and water issues fast. A quick caulk and a door tune-up in the fall is the cheapest insurance you can buy.
Where else do you work?
We're based in Mulino, with regular rounds through Oregon City, West Linn, Molalla, Canby and most of the south Portland metro. If you're not sure whether you're inside the zone, send your zip and we'll let you know.
